Farm Guidelines
& Safety
Welcome to Two Little Hands Farm! To keep our guests and our animals happy and safe, please follow these guidelines during your visit:
General Safety
-
Supervise Children: Children must be within arm's reach of an adult at all times. Farms have uneven terrain and curious animals!
-
Closed-Toe Shoes: We strongly recommend wearing sturdy, closed-toe shoes (like boots or sneakers) to protect your feet.
-
Stay in Designated Areas: Please remain in guest-authorized areas and do not climb on fences, gates, or farm machinery.
Farm Policies
-
No Smoking or Vaping: For the safety of our animals and to prevent fire hazards, our farm is a smoke-free environment.
-
Pet Policy: While we love animals, we ask that you leave your personal pets at home to avoid stressing our farm residents.
-
Enter at Your Own Risk: By entering the farm, guests acknowledge the inherent risks of a rural environment.
Animal Etiquette
-
No Outside Food: Please do not feed the animals anything brought from home. Many human foods (and even some plants) can make them very sick.
-
Gentle Hands: Use "two little hands" to pet gently. Avoid touching animal faces, eyes, or ears unless guided by staff.
-
Wash Your Hands: Always wash your hands with soap and water or use sanitizer after touching animals or leaving the barn area.
Important Reminder
Notice: Under Georgia law, an agritourism professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in an agritourism activity resulting from the inherent risks of the agritourism activity.
